The bands

Arkona

Pagan folk metal · Moscow

Born in Moscow in 2002 around vocalist Masha "Ark" Scream, Arkona blends pagan black metal, Slavic chanting and folk instruments. With nine albums including "Kob'" (2023, Napalm Records), the band stands among the leading names of international folk metal.

Seth

Black metal · Bordeaux

Cornerstones of French black metal since 1995, Seth were among the first to sing of evil in their native tongue. After "La Morsure du Christ" (2021), "La France des Maudits" (2024, Season of Mist) confirms their return to the forefront of the European scene.

The Great Old Ones

Lovecraftian post-black metal · Bordeaux

Formed in Bordeaux in 2009, The Great Old Ones translate H.P. Lovecraft's universe into atmospheric, post-modern black metal. "Kadath" (2025, Season of Mist), their fifth album, pushes their sonic cosmology even further.
